Glass greenhouse in a snowy pine forest with palms inside

Estonia's first palm nursery

Palms for your terrace. We take care of the winter.

Talvepalm rents and sells hardy palms and Mediterranean plants to hotels, spas and restaurants across Estonia. We deliver in spring, collect in autumn and overwinter the plants in our greenhouse near Pärnu.

Our first season is in preparation. People on the waitlist get the offer first.

What we do

One partner for the whole year, not just the summer.

Rent.

Choose plants for the season. We deliver, place them and leave simple care instructions.

Buy.

Buy the plant outright. Grown on and hardened in Estonia, not shipped straight from the south.

Store.

In autumn we move the plants to our greenhouse and bring them back in spring, healthy and larger.

Our palms

Hardy species, acclimatised for the north.

Photos show the species. Pictures of our own plants follow in the first season.

A more compact, wind-tolerant relative with stiffer leaves. Good for a seaside terrace.

Dense bush of a Mediterranean fan palm

Europe's only native palm. Dense and bushy, ideal beside an entrance.

Yucca with a blue-grey sphere of leaves
Yucca rostrataBeaked yucca

A blue-grey sphere of leaves on a trunk. The least demanding plant in our range.

Outdoors our plants tolerate short cold spells down to 0 °C with the roots covered. For the winter they come to our greenhouse.
